Octane’s solutions are crafted to address both the current and emerging needs of their customers in the fuel industry.   With ongoing growth, they are seeking a Business Development & Account Manager to drive business growth activity and manage the existing key account client base across the Australia region. 

Job Description

Reporting to the Country Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth, and ensuring effective account management and ERP project delivery.  You will play a central role in Octane’s key customer interactions, driving satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service and trusting partnerships.

You will spearhead customer relationships and sales processes. Your primary responsibilities will include facilitating Octane’s sales process, managing existing key accounts, ensuring unparalleled customer satisfaction, and driving organic sales growth. You will oversee the entire sales cycle and be given a high level of accountability and ownership.  

Qualifications

We’re looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for client service and the nous for managing complex ERP projects.   To be successful in this role you need the following:

  • Experience and Market Knowledge in the Fuel Distribution industry
  • Proven track record in business development, marketing or sales
  • Experience delivering high-level technical product demonstrations and written sales proposals
  • Strong Account Management experience
  • High-level Project Management Experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to quickly understand customer issues and provide fast and efficient issue escalation and timely feedback in a professional manner
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to translate technical jargon into non-technical responses
