MIMICO sells, hires and services heavy machinery for the quarrying, mining, contracting, construction, recycling and forestry industries.

About the position:

This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and bring MIMICO’s brand vision to life. Working closely with the marketing team, you will develop and implement content strategies that drive audience engagement and support business objectives.

Key accountabilities will include:

• Creating visually appealing multimedia content, including graphics, images, and videos
• Writing and editing engaging and informative articles, blog posts, scripts, and other written content
• Monitoring content performance and analysing data to optimize strategies and improve results
• Coordinate logistics for events, trade shows, and promotional activities, including venue selection, vendor management, and collateral development.
• Assist in the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional.
• Assist with the management of digital marketing efforts, including website updates, social media content scheduling, and email marketing campaigns

Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining marketing materials and databases

This is a very broad role that might just have it all and so we are looking for a solid all-rounder who loves getting involved in all areas of the business.

To be consider for this position, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Content Creator, Content Writer, or similar role
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar
• Strong understanding of content marketing principles and best practices
• Proficiency in multimedia content creation tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
• Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing concepts
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A collaborative approach to bring ideas to bring teams ideas to life
