Job Description

About the position: 

Our client based in Rukuhia have a great opportunity available for a full time Accounts Administrator to join their team.  The position reports to the Finance Manager and sits across the AP and AR function, providing general accounting support.

The role is responsible for the preparation of AP payments for three entities including:

  • Sorting incoming invoices in order for 20th and EOM payment runs
  • Coding and entering invoices into our accounting package
  • Following up approvals for non-stock invoices
  • Running AP payment reports and getting payments ready for review
  • Assisting with AP related queries
  • Reconciliation of AP invoices to stock receipting information
  • Sending out AR invoices, bank reconciliations and filing

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • 3+ years AP and AR experience
  • A good understanding of computer-based accounting applications and financial management system, including excel
  • Strong Reconciliation skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills

You will be joining a fast-paced and driven team, so the ability to learn quickly and have a can-do attitude is crucial.
