Senior HR Generalist (HR Department of One)

  • Full-time

Company Description

Our client is actively searching for a strong HR professional to support their people operations.  This is a small, multi-state firm that provides health care compliance services to US companies.  If you are the type of HR pro whom SHRM modeled their “HR Department of One” specialty credential after, please consider this role.  Do you crave variety?  Know how to leverage vendors and internal stakeholders to get things done? Describe yourself as an uber-generalist?  Long for a company that invests in people systems and HR? Tired of arguing with decision-makers about ‘why’ we can’t just do whatever we want when we want?  If you answered yes to these questions, this could be the role you have been dreaming about!  In this role, you get to do it all with a company that values knowing the regulations, as well as the human side of business.

This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days in-person at their Alexandria, VA office and the balance of work performed remotely.  ONLY local candidates will be considered.  The office is located near the METRO stop Franconcia-Springfield, and although not exactly walking distance for most, the company has a reimbursement program for ride-share service to and from the METRO.  Abundant on-site parking that is free of charge.  Walking distance to shopping and eateries (SmashBurger, Firehouse Subs, Giant, Starbucks, Panera, Yoga studio, etc)
