Job Description

We’re looking for more excellent Assistant Managers to join our team and to start building their retail careers.

We have openings at our stores in Rosebank, Sandton, Fourways and Cresta.

The Mission:

Creating and supporting a team that is capable of upholding the HP Store culture and consistently improving monthly sales contributions. Focussing on the development of the team as well as your own. Positively affecting the culture of the business and actively add to the store buzz.

What you’ll do: 

  • Lead the store team in customer service excellence.
  • Performance management of the store team.
  • Oversee any special customer orders.
  • Monitor stock levels and oversee orders.
  • Responsible for merchandising and the cleanliness of the store.
  • Train and develop team members.
  • Be present for opening and closing of the store.
  • Responsible for the daily cashup of cashiers.
  • Responsible for the correct completion of all store processes and procedures.
  • Maintain and organise the store’s paperwork.
  • Monitor and drive store turnover.
  • Communicate monthly targets to the team and monitor progress.
  • Share P&L results with the team
  • Oversee the monthly stocktake.

Qualifications

A Matric Certificate or higher
At least 5 years Retail experience
At least 2 years Retail Assistant Management experience 
Tech Retail experience would be an advantage
