Software Engineer - Frontend (ReactJS, NextJs)
- Full-time
Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and Next.js to help build and evolve a business-critical enterprise platform that powers commercial workflows across the organization. Working within a cross-functional product engineering team, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions end to end.
You will have real ownership of the frontend landscape, from user experience and API integrations to deployment pipelines and operational excellence. The platform is built on a modern technology stack and runs on Azure Kubernetes Service with enterprise-grade security, observability, and CI/CD practices. As part of a team that values a plan-first, evidence-driven engineering culture, you will contribute to solution design, code quality, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement while helping to shape products that support critical business decisions at scale.
Responsibilities
Develop user-friendly, responsive web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Build complex, data-heavy UI features such as advanced filtering, large interactive data grids, bulk file uploads, and multi-step approval workflows.
Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to translate requirements and wireframes into high-quality frontend code
Optimize application performance and user experience by implementing efficient and reusable frontend components
Contribute to the design and maintenance of a Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layer using Next.js API Routes that aggregates backend microservice APIs
Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services
Own frontend state management using modern libraries and patterns, choosing the right tool for global, atomic, and contextual state
Write meaningful unit, integration, and end-to-end tests that assert real behaviour, and help raise the team's quality bar
Maintain frontend quality and reliability by conducting code reviews, driving engineering best practices (linting, formatting, conventional commits, and static analysis), and troubleshooting bugs, performance issues, and other frontend challenges.
Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, adopting modern technologies, and driving AI-powered solutions and innovation.
