ABOUT THE ROLE
Do you want to play a key role in driving the full company strategy for some of our biggest and most important events of the year? As Business Expert Inventory management, you will be responsible for the full End-of-Season Sale from cross functional strategy to execution while also shaping the future of how we continue to improve and optimize our inventory management strategies. This is a high-impact, senior role where you'll influence both long-term planning and day-to-day decision-making in a highly collaborative environment. In this role, you'll make a real difference, directly impact business outcomes, and play a key part in driving the company's results. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 
As a Business Expert, you will be responsible for shaping and driving the Post-Season strategy across markdowns, End-of-Season Sale periods, and Reverse Supply. Your decisions will have a direct impact on stock freshness, inventory optimization, profitability, and our overall business results. 

You will define the stock-solving R&D requirements in partnership with Controlling, ensuring strong P&L management. Through close collaboration with CG Supply Planning and the Product Organization, you will provide data-driven insights on stock levels and composition, influencing future supply decisions. Working closely with Continent teams, you will drive alignment around our holistic inventory strategy, ensuring its successful execution across the organization.

You will..

  • Drive long-term planning strategy for R&D and Stock to Sales targets in close collaboration with CG Supply Planning, Controlling and Product. 

  • Set the overall strategy for End of Season Sale from planning to execution and follow-up. 

  • Cross functional End of Season Sale planning, ensuring that Visual, Product, Digital and Store Operations guidelines are in line with the holistic strategy 

  • Provide end-of-season sale debriefs to Product, including insights on sell-through and stock aging, and translate learnings into improvements for future periods.  

  • Oversee the global view of inventory health and flows, tracking stock levels, sell-through and aging. 

  • Perform ad-hoc analyses connected to inventory management to support decision-making.  

  • Challenge Product and Continents when stock levels and composition require tactical or strategic intervention. 

  • Support Continents to take best post-season stock optimization decisions including timing, article selection and pricing.  

  • Support and develop frameworks and best practices across the global supply planning community.  

  • Drive existing processes, tools and methodologies within post-season and co-develop new initiatives. 

  • Be part of driving the future development of our AI Pricing tech products, both existing (Mark Down Online & Determinator) and the roll-out of future ones (Mark Down Retail). 

  • Close collaboration with Reverse Supply Planning team that includes resellers and leftovers.  

  • Collaborate cross functions (CG Supply Planning, Controlling, Product, Continents Supply planning).

In this role, you will collaborate closely with CG Supply Planning, Controlling, Product, Continent Supply Planning, and across the Supply Chain function, as well as other senior stakeholders across the business. You will work in a highly cross-functional setting where alignment, clear communication, and strong business partnership are key to driving successful outcomes across continents.

You are a senior analytical and strategic planner with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to connect long-term direction with operational execution. You thrive in a complex, fast-paced, and cross-functional environment where you can influence decisions through data, insights, and collaboration. You are comfortable challenging stakeholders, driving alignment across different teams, and turning lessons learned into concrete improvements. 

You take responsibility and accountability for the topics you own while enjoy working in teams to deliver on our units’ objectives. 

We are looking for people with… 

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related quantitative field 

  • 5–7+ years of experience in supply, merchandising, inventory management or similar field. 

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret supply and inventory data, identify performance drivers, and translate findings into actionable strategies and recommendations 

  • Good communication skills, the ability to communicate insights and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders 

  • Leadership skills through formal or informal experience 

  • Strong business understanding and genuine interest in creating business value 

  • The drive to shape something new, to further develop methods and WoW within the scope of post-season inventory management.
