Job Description
As a Junior Buyer, you will support the Buyer in developing and buying a strong, customer-focused assortment that drives sales and profitability within your category. Working in line with the overall assortment strategy, you contribute to product development, buying activities, and in-season follow-up across all sales channels.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support the Buyer in driving the product development process in line with the assortment strategy, customer needs, and commercial goals.
- Assist in optimizing assortment and buying decisions across customer touchpoints and sales channels to meet customer demand.
- Secure an efficient product development process by following department timelines and supporting execution from planning through delivery.
- Manage sample handling and administration, prepare and support fittings, and ensure accurate follow-up throughout development and commercial activities.
- Support order placements and amendments while collaborating closely with Production regarding price, timing, capacity, sustainability, and product expectations.
- Monitor and analyze selling and stock performance, supporting actions to optimize commercial results.
- Drive day-to-day organization within the team and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective ways of working and information sharing.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
In this role, you will work closely with Buyers, Designers, Pattern Makers, Production teams, and other key stakeholders across the value chain. Together, you will contribute to creating a strong and relevant customer offering that reflects the & Other Stories brand vision and commercial goals.
WHO YOU ARE

- Experience or knowledge of buying, assortment planning, and product development within fashion retail.
- A strong understanding of the fashion industry, trends, customer behavior, and market relevance.
- Knowledge of production processes, product construction, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Experience working with relevant buying, planning, and product development tools and systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales performance, stock situations, and product opportunities.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a temporary position for 12 months based at our Head Office in Stockholm, Kungsholmen.

In this role, you will be able to take advantage of a hybrid working arrangement. You will have the flexibility to work both remotely and from the office. While remote working is part of our offer, four days per week of office presence is required to foster collaboration and teamwork.
