Job Description
As the Tech Manager you will lead and oversee Tech within your Production Country, ensuring stable delivery, compliance, and colleague-focused support. Manage Tech Operations teams and Tech PMs to secure local rollouts of global tech solutions, aligned with global standards and business needs.
-Take full accountability for Tech Operations and tech rollouts within the Production Country - being a first point of escalation for tech-related issues within Production Country
-Lead Tech Ops teams, ensuring strong team performance and talent development
-Ensure delivery of stable operations and end-user support services
-Secure compliance with H&M/global policies, local regulations, and audit requirements, e.g. MMR and MMS
-Drive proactive initiatives to identify and resolve operational issues and risks early
-Own tech budget/P&L management (invoicing, forecasting, financial reporting)
-Manage procurement of local services and vendors in line with global guidelines
-Provide direction for local adaptation of global solutions, ensuring relevance to market needs
-Champion cyber security initiatives and ensure alignment with global security standards
-Collaborate with stakeholders across the Global Tech organization.
-Partner with global product and service teams to secure readiness for rollouts
-Adapt global rollout plans to local conditions while delivering on set timelines and targets
-Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring continuous improvement
-Support new tech capabilities from rollout into business-as-usual, including post go-live stabilization and tech operations in collaboration with the Tech centers, focusing on value realization
-Contribute to governance and reporting models, sharing learnings with continental/ global
-Create and manage risk and risk register for the Production Country.
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology Operations, or equivalent experience
-3+ years’ experience in ITSM, service delivery, or infrastructure leadership
-Experience leading teams, managing tech operations, and delivering IT solutions
-Exposure to sourcing, production, retail or consumer-facing tech environments preferred
-Strong budget management and forecasting skills
-Excellent stakeholder management, vendor management, and communication skills
-Certified in ITIL Foundation (3 and/or 4); agile experience desirable
-Familiar with agile working methodologies
- Contract negotiation experience and management
-Occasional international travel required
–Proficient in English and local language, both written and spoken
