WHAT YOU’LL DO 

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Store Performance team at H&M. Store Performance helps thousands of store colleagues make better decisions through insights, analytics, and increasingly AI-powered experiences. As we evolve from traditional dashboards towards intelligent decision support, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of the platform. 

As a Senior Engineer, you'll combine hands-on development with technical leadership, helping the team design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across the full stack while mentoring others and driving engineering excellence.  

In addition to above you will:

  • Design, build, and maintain modern full stack applications and services. 
  • Contribute to architecture and technical roadmap decisions. 
  • Work closely with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering partners to deliver customer value. 
  • Drive engineering best practices across quality, security, testing, and observability. 
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance. 
  • Improve platform reliability, performance, and operational excellence. 
  • Explore AI, MCP, and context-engineering approaches where they create meaningful business value. 
  • Help foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical depth with a collaborative mindset. 

You likely have: 

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience. 
  • Strong full stack development experience with modern web technologies. 
  • Experience working with React, TypeScript, APIs, cloud platforms, and modern engineering practices. 
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, scalable system design, and engineering best practices. 
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and operational excellence. 
  • A passion for mentoring others and improving how teams work. 
  • The ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions. 
  • Curiosity about AI, intelligent applications, and emerging technologies. 

Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys solving real business problems, taking ownership, and helping others succeed.
