Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO  

As Executive Assistant to the Managing Director Europe, you will take on a visible role with clear responsibility, high pace and real impact, helping create the focus, structure and momentum needed for senior leadership to make decisions and drive execution effectively. 

 You will: 

  • Act as a trusted partner in the day-to-day work of the Managing Director Europe, helping prioritize what matters most and ensuring decisions, meetings and communication are well prepared.
  • Plan proactively, identify priorities, dependencies and risks, and ensure meetings, agendas, travel and activities are well coordinated across a fast-moving and cross-functional organization.
  • Create and proofread presentations, briefings and written communication, ensuring high-quality material and strong preparation for key meetings and business activities.
  • Manage incoming communication, prepare meetings, follow up on actions, and handle key administrative tasks such as expenses, invoices and time reporting.
  • Support the wider continental leadership team through strong coordination and effective ways of working, with the flexibility to travel extensively with the continental leadership team when needed.

You will support the Managing Director Europe and work closely with the continental leadership team and a broad network of colleagues across the organisation. In this role, you will collaborate across functions, markets and interfaces, helping create alignment, structure and effective ways of working across a fast-moving and cross-functional business environment.

WHO YOU ARE 

We are looking for people with… 

  • Proven experience supporting senior leaders in an Executive Assistant or similar role.
  • Experience working in a global and cross-functional organisation.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft 365 and digital tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to structure and simplify complex information.
  • Experience creating high-quality presentations, briefings and written material.
  • Dutch language skills are a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Netherlands, Amsterdam and the local culture is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel extensively with the continental leadership team.
