Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO 
As a Sales Market Business Controller, you lead the Sales Market controlling function by driving profitable sales, accurate financial follow‑up, and strong commercial execution across all channels. You steer budgeting and forecasting, ensure correctness of accounting and compliance, manage projects and business cases, and collaborate closely with Area Teams and support functions to deliver top‑ and bottom‑line results. 

You will: 

  • Perform monthly Profit & Loss analysis for both Store and Online channels, focusing on main cost drivers such as salaries costs for store and logistics costs for e-com.
  • You analyse potentials and suggest actions to improve the results and align on them with the respective department heads and area managers. 
  • You are responsible for budgeting Other cost accounts for both channels such as Travel costs, Office Equipment, Local Taxes & Fees, Sales related costs, etc. 
  • You support the marketing team in budgeting and cost follow up of all locally driven marketing costs such as paid media, press & communications, visual, etc.  
  • Analyse reasons for deviations between actual results and budgets and initiate actions 
  • Guarantee the correctness of Monthly settlements & annual financial statements for your organization together with Local Accounting Teams. 
  • Collaborate regularly with support functions at the Country Support Office in order to maximise profitability across both channels
  • Educate central controlling team and department heads and controllers on all P&L aspects including cost follow up best practice and tools, profit & cost center structures, account structure, cost drivers, etc. 

WHO YOU ARE 
You are a structured, analytical, and business‑minded controlling professional with strong financial skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. You work collaboratively and confidently across functions, communicate clearly, and lead with accountability—supporting teams, enabling performance, and ensuring accuracy, transparency, and a strong commercial mindset in everything you do. 

We are looking for people with… 

  • 3-5+ years in business/financial controlling, FP&A, or sales planning; retail or omnichannel experience preferred with proven P&L and forecasting expertise 
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similar will be an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with planning/BI tools (e.g., Power BI) 
  • Strong analytical skills - comfortable turning complex data into simple, actionable guidance 
  • Experience with productivity, OPEX and cost control 
  • Solid understanding of retail KPIs: sales, margin, stock, conversion, UPT, ASP 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
