Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Tech Manager, you will lead tech operations across the Sales Market by ensuring stable daily operations, driving compliance, and adapting global solutions to local needs. You will manage budgets, vendors and cross‑functional collaboration while guiding teams to deliver secure, efficient and continuously improving tech services. In this role, you will be responsible for the Sales Market, consisting of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary.
You will:
- Take full accountability for Tech Operations and retail tech rollouts within the Sales Market, acting as the first escalation point for tech‑related issues.
- Ensure stable operations and high‑quality end‑user support services across all locations.
- Drive proactive initiatives to identify and resolve operational issues and risks early.
- Monitor key performance indicators and secure continuous improvement across all areas.
- Contribute to governance and reporting models, sharing insights with global teams.
- Oversee budget and P&L management, including forecasting, invoicing and financial reporting.
- Manage procurement of market services and external vendors in line with global guidelines.
- Secure compliance with H&M policies, local regulations and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales, Expansion, Retail Operations and Global Tech to enable strong operational delivery.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives and ensure alignment with global security standards.
- Lead, coach and develop Tech Ops teams and Tech PMs, building high‑performing, skilled and engaged teams with the clarity, support and direction needed to deliver on business goals.
- Create the conditions for strong cross‑functional collaboration by setting priorities, empowering decision‑making and securing accountability, enabling teams to solve problems, share insights and drive customer‑centric improvements.

As a Tech Manager, you will work closely with Sales Market leadership, Retail Operations, Global Tech teams, Finance, Expansion, and multiple external vendors. You will operate at the center of business–tech collaboration, ensuring stable delivery and readiness for new retail and tech rollouts.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with …
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology Operations or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- ITIL Foundation certification (v3 and/or v4) or experience working with ITIL principles.
- 3+ years’ experience in ITSM, service delivery, or infrastructure leadership
- Experience leading teams, managing tech operations, and delivering IT solutions
- Exposure to retail tech or consumer-facing tech environments preferred
- Strong budget management and forecasting skills.
- Understanding of compliance, cybersecurity and governance requirements.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

This is a full-time role based on a local contract in Prague, Czech Republic. The Tech Manager reports to the Controlling Manager.
