WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are seeking highly skilled Backend Software Engineers specializing in.NET development to build and enhance scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. This role involves working with .NET Core, cloud-native technologies, microservices, modern frontend frameworks, and DevOps automation while ensuring security, performance, and reliability.
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our organization and clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, develop efficient code, perform rigorous testing, and deliver robust software products. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software development, a passion for technology, and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions that align with project goals and meet quality standards.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and appropriate
software design patterns. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather and
analyze requirements for software projects. - Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software meets functional and performance requirements. Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback and improve code quality.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues and optimize
software performance. - Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative
solutions and improvements. - Contribute to the documentation of software designs, technical specifications, and user manuals.
- Work effectively in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning,
estimation, and other team activities.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
At H&M Group, you’ll be part of the Product team- Price Adjustment Experience (PAE) which builds products to help our merchandisers in reducing prices at a lower cost for the company, by offering efficient, risk- minimized tools for planning and managing price reductions in a data-driven way. The team strives towards creating a “one stop shop” application for managing price reductions for both Online and Retail by providing functional flows for reduction activity planning & event calendar, article selection and pricing with & without AI, omni channel price alignment, “one click” for automatic activation in both sales channels etc.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with...
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in application development. Strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET, Web APIs and Microservices.
- Strong hands-on experience in Azure in services such as App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Entra, AppInsights, Application Gateways, Storage accounts etc.
- Strong experience in writing Unit tests, Integration tests with testing frameworks such as MS Test/N-Unit/X-Unit and use of mocking frameworks.
- Experience working with SQL and Cosmos DB.
- Experience working with SAFe/Scrum/Agile methodology.
- Experience in creating and working with CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep.
- Good knowledge of Application and Cloud Security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare well-designed artifacts.
- Ability to interact with business users for requirement elicitation, clarification, coordination, and explain/walkthrough solutions.
