Company Description
H&M Studios creates fashion content for H&M’s full assortment globally, including model imagery, product photography and video assets. Our mission is to elevate the full assortment and support H&M in becoming a credible fashion brand.
As a set designer, you will design and create inspiring settings for a wide range of photo productions. You will plan and organise set designs based on production briefs, ensuring each layout is completed on time and in line with creative direction. The role includes sourcing, ordering and purchasing props and materials, as well as developing and building your own creations when needed.
You will work across multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate closely with production teams, photographers, stylists and other stakeholders on a daily basis to deliver high-quality results.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will:
- Plan, design and organize set for photo productions.
- Prepare set by building/constructing, painting, sewing, ordering, purchasing and/or renting props.
- Schedule and coordinate set construction and teardown according to shoot calendar
- Collaborate and communicate with production team
- Brief production team on safety of how the set works
- Handle, organize and store all in-house set design props and materials.
- Manage set budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
- Invoice handling and other administrative tasks

We are looking for people with....
- Experience in set design or a background in film, theatre scenography or similar creative fields.
- Strong carpentry skills; basic sewing and furniture‑upholstery knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience in working with both motion and still image production is meritorious.
- Demonstrated organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent Swedish and English language skills, both written and verbal.
- Drivers licence B+ is required
