Lead Test Engineer – Cross Product Co-ordination

Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

We are looking for a highly skilled E2E Test Lead to drive quality across complex, integrated enterprise systems. In this role, you will lead a cross-product coordination team, define and implement testing strategies, and ensure end-to-end quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle. You will work closely with engineering managers, solution architects, and multiple delivery teams to align testing efforts with business and technical goals.

In addition to this you will... 

  • Lead and motivate Cross Product Co-ordination team, set priorities, and make technical strategic decisions. 
  • Support with resource planning for the initiatives.  
  • Collaborate along with engineering manager in achieving the cross-product co-ordinator’s team goals. 
  • Collaborate with solution architects and development teams to ensure test strategies align with architectural goals. 
  • Implement KPI’s to understand and improve the effectiveness of testing. 
  • Define, implement, and improve the way of working for test coordination. 
  • Work with stakeholders to define and resolve the test environment, data needs, and dependencies. 
  • Identify risk, develop mitigation and escalate when required 
  • Support the team identify test scope, objectives and key business processes to be validated 
  • Support with enabling the automation of E2E test flows where applicable.  
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the Cross Product Co-ordinator’s team on best practices in test automation and architecture.

WHO YOU ARE 

We are looking for people with 

  •  A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field or significant, equivalent work experience. 
  • Experience working with Agile teams and associated tools (Scrum, Jira, Confluence, QMetry). 
  • Solid experience testing across APIs, microservices, web, mobile, and backend systems; familiarity with message queues, data flows, and integration patterns. 
  • Strong understanding of E2E test strategies, planning, execution, and reporting across complex, integrated systems. 
  • Experience coordinating test environments, managing test data strategies, and resolving environment dependencies in multi-team setups. 
  • Ability to define and track test metrics and quality KPIs to measure effectiveness and drive improvements. 
  • Knowledge of test automation and familiarity with the retail domain is nice to have.
