Job Description

At H&M Group, we’re transforming the in-store experience across our Portfolio Brands – COS, Weekday, & Other Stories, and ARKET by rethinking how customers interact with checkout and payment solutions. As a Senior Business Expert, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation, improving customer journeys, and modernizing our Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of retail operations, customer experience, and technology, where your insights and leadership will directly impact how millions of customers shop in our stores worldwide.

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Leading the product strategy for checkout and payment solutions across H&M Group’s global retail operations.
  • Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and drive improvements.
  • Supporting the transformation of our POS systems by setting clear business and technical requirements.
  • Acting as a bridge between business and tech, ensuring solutions meet customer and operational needs.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH 

In this role, you’ll work closely with a wide range of teams to bring innovative checkout and payment solutions to life across our Portfolio Brands:

  • Retail Tech teams supporting COS, Weekday, & Other Stories, and ARKET 
  • Central functions and store operations team
  • Tech and program stakeholders within our omni-channel initiatives

 

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE  

We are looking for people with… 

  • A degree in business, IT, engineering – or equivalent experience from retail environments.
  • A solid understanding of store operations and how to create great customer experiences.
  • Experience in business development, innovation, or product ownership.
  • Confidence working with cross-functional teams and navigating diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Familiarity with agile ways of working and tools like Jira.
  • Bonus: Experience with POS systems or retail tech solutions.

Additional Information

This is a full time permanent contract based at our Head Office in Liljeholmen Stockholm.

In this role you will have the flexibility to work both remotely and, from the office. While remote working is part of our offer, approx. 4 days per week office presence is required to foster strong collaborations and team work.
