We are looking for a Product Developer Accessories & FBB with a strategic mindset, a passion for fashion, and a collaborative spirit to join our Guest Design & Collabs team at New Development, H&M.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Product Developer in Guest Design & Collabs, you’ll be at the heart of some of H&M’s most exciting and influential projects. This role gives you the unique opportunity to work with renowned guest designers and creative teams, shaping collections that capture global attention and set new standards for fashion innovation. We are looking for a product developer who wants to be part of a team that is driven, inspires and contributes to work towards our brand building goals.
In this position you will focus on developing accessories, shoes and bags. You’ll lead the component & development process—from the first spark of an idea to the final product—ensuring every detail reflects our commitment to quality, sustainability, and creativity. In this fast-paced, collaborative environment, your vision and expertise will help turn bold concepts into reality, making a real impact on our brand and our customers.
Drive the component and product development process with a strategic and customer-centric approach
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to bring visionary collections to life
Lead pre-season planning and in-season execution, taking full ownership of development timelines and activity plans to ensure price, quality and sustainability targets are met.
Identify and fill gaps in the component library—both digital and physical—aligning with brand direction and project needs, while actively supporting knowledge sharing across teams and in the accessory department.
Take ownership of sourcing, material selection, and sample handling
Foster strong relationships with production offices, suppliers, and vendors
Support, guide and coordinate design consultants for each collab and project
Track KPIs and reflect on outcomes to continuously improve development processes
WHO YOU ARE
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
A degree in textiles, product development, or a related field
+5 years of relevant experience, within accessories, shoes and bags. High fashion and premium background are merited
Strong technical and quality knowledge, with clear insight into how making processes affect product outcomes.
A deep understanding of the product development process and production capabilities
A strategic and proactive mindset with strong planning and organizational skills
A passion for fashion, innovation, and sustainability
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A flexible, solution-oriented approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong salesmanship and entrepreneurial mindset
