DC Safety&Security Manager – full-time, permanent – new Portfolio Brands: COS, Weekday, &Other Stories, ARKET  - site in Robakowo

We are opening a state-of-the-art, highly automated, BREEAM certified, Omni-Logistics Centre in Robakowo, Poland, to serve all European Portfolio Brands markets. This new warehouse will have 62K sqm and employ between 500 and 700 ambitious, committed, and motivated colleagues dedicated to fulfilling our customer promise efficiently and sustainably.

Job Description

 

As the DC Safety&Security Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our Safety and Security processes. Your strong background, combined with curiosity, entrepreneurial mindset, and resilience, will be essential as you lead the Safety&Security function in our new logistics center.

 

Your main responsibilities are but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the implementation, goals and action plans within the DC in line with the Safety, Security and Loss Prevention strategy
  • Plan, manage and follow-up education and trainings in all relevant Safety, Security and Loss Prevention areas
  • Set and secure plan for recruitment, succession and talent development for the team
  • Manage the security budget within the DC, including invoice and results follow-up
  • Support insurance coordination through knowledge of claims processes
  • Tender for security services and technical solutions based on standards and applicability
  • Measure and analyze KPIs to follow-up on Safety and Security standards within DC
  • Analyze shrinkage by conducting inspections and investigations, reporting findings in compliance with global guidelines and local legislation
  • Maintain and follow up on accurate incident and accident records, raising awareness and ensuring transparency and accountability to mitigate risks within DC
  • Ensure DC adherence to H&M global Safety, Security and Loss prevention policies, standards and local legislation
  • Ensure that the Code of Ethics program is implemented within DC and collaborated with suppliers
  • Conduct risk assessment and inspections within the DC in adherence with global policies and local legislation, taking corrective actions as needed to ensure people safety
  • Secure, develop and train Crisis Response Plan
  • Implement and maintain emergency procedures, including evacuation plans, first aid, fire safety in compliance with global guideline and local regulations

Kwalifikacje

Qualifications

 What do you need to succeed:

  • Extensive expertise in Safety, Security and DC operational processes, with the ability to develop and implemented strategic initiatives
  • Proven experience in Occupational health and safety and Health and  safety compliance
  • Deep understanding of global policies , standards, and local legislation , ensuring adherence to Safety & Security requirements and the Code of Ethics program
  • Experience in identifying and resolving risk areas related to Safety, Security, Loss Prevention and overall regulatory compliance
  • Solid analytics and problem-solving capabilities , driving data-driven decision-making to enhance operational safety and security
  • Strong communication, presentation and coordination skills, effectively engaging with varyfing levels of stakeholders and influencing key decision
  • Advanced organisational and strategic planning skills , experience in executing safety and security initiatives
  • Proficient in administration tools , such as Office 365 and other digital solutions with ability to use reporting platform and identify process improvements
  • Fluent Polish and English language skills in speaking and writing

Additional Information

This role is a full-time and permanent position, starting as soon as possible, with direct reporting to the DC Manager. The work location is the newly build warehouse in Robakowo, Szkolna 98.
