WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for the sales performance, customer experience and overall profitability of stores in your area. You’ll lead the Area and Store Management Teams to ensure the area runs most efficiently by implementing strategic planning, and operational and commercial activities.
You will:
- Make sure that the actions, goals, and strategy you implement in stores are part of a bigger strategy for the whole Area and contribute to the H&M Brand plan
- Identify sales opportunities and after discussion with Sales Manager, you’ll implement strategies to enhance the customer experience in stores, ensuring that sales targets and company goals are reached
- Follow up and analyse key KPIs of the Area and after agreeing with the Sales Manager you will initiate actions to increase profit and balance long and short-term planning
- Provide constructive guidance to Store Managers as well as support, lead, and manage them to increase the overall performance of their stores
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of Store Managers and you will execute and ensure performance reviews and follow-ups
- Oversee and ensure succession planning for Store Managers and Store Management roles.
- Ensure that all employee relation responsibilities, legal requirements, and H&M policies are fulfilled
- Secure compliance with all safety & security, administration, and legal procedures.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As an Area Manager, you will be leading directly Area Team, working closely with them to ensure that your stores deliver a great customer experience in line with the country's objectives. You’ll regularly collaborate with Store Managers and store teams across your Area. In the same time, you’ll engage with Sales Team and other key stakeholders to align sales strategies and drive store performance.

- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role with proven delivery of business results
- Strong results in the areas of people development and engagement
- Very good knowledge of English written and spoken
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proven organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities
- Strong commercial vision to set a strategy to maximize sales and profitability in your area
