Job Description

What you will do:

  • You are responsible for supporting the Sales & Profit by setting and implementing a HR strategy to deliver a Great Customer Experience in line with your Area goals and Country HR focuses.
  • You support the Area to have Great Teams by securing the Global Employee Strategy. You make sure that your Area actively works with succession planning, talent and leadership development and structured performance management, based on results, values and leadership.
  • You ensure we offer all employees fair and attractive work conditions and that all employee relation responsibilities, legal requirements and H&M policies are fulfilled to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.

Attract, Recruit and Introduce

  • Monitor and analyse your Area’s future needs, including staff rotation and expansion, for all Store positions. You take actions and follow up to ensure the Area’s needs are consistently met.
  • You implement, facilitate and follow up quality recruitment processes
  • Support, organize and quality assure Assessment Centres for internal and external candidates
  • Train and follow up on the quality of Recruiters in your Area
  • Together with the Area Team you plan, organize, secure and follow up Introduction Training for Store Management teams
  • Secure and follow up Introduction Training for Sales Advisors for your existing and new stores together with Store Management
  • Together with the Area Team and Store Managers, you follow up and evaluate HR KPI’s and initiate actions accordingly to support the business

Learn and Develop

  • Together with the Area Team you support and ensure Store Managers work with structured performance management for all employees in the Stores
  • Together with the Area Manager, you ensure all employees in your Area receive an annual dialogue, feedback on their performance and a clear development plan or action plan to improve
  • Together with Store Managers and Area Team you follow up the development plans in your Area
  • Map succession planning for your Stores and actively support and follow up that Store Managers are developing their teams, ensuring they are working with talent and leadership development
  • Assure, together with the Area Team, that Store Managers have a Next Me with a clear succession plan
  • Oversee the Area’s internal talent pipeline and support the Country organization talent needs
  • Monitor and analyse your Area’s training needs, organise and facilitate training together with Support Office HR
  • Quality assure your Area’s Trainers and Training Stores and ensure the amount fulfils the need, together with Support Office HR
  • Together with the Area Team and Store Managers you follow up and evaluate HR KPI’s and initiate actions accordingly to support your Area’s Sales and Profit results

  •  You act as a neutral escalation point for the employees and coach Store Management and Area Teams to prevent and resolve employee related issues
  • Analyse the HR KPI’s and initiate actions to ensure a fair working environment
  • If employees recognize an official external union, you ensure a fair and constructive social dialogue, working collaboratively with representative organizations to reach sustainable agreements that support our business. (*only applicable in certain markets)
