Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Create, plan, and implement data strategy in alignment with company direction to fulfill business needs, communicate effectively to key stakeholders and the product team.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure data vision and product developments align with business strategy and priorities.
- Responsible for product specific OKRs and KPIs once solution enters production; visualize and presents regular data tracking to stakeholders.
- Own and maintain the backlog, prioritize based on the given initiatives, brand plan and business priorities.
- Drive the service model of serving “data as a service” concept, to meet all sorts of data needs from business teams, analytics team and other product team.
- Forge product mindset for data related products, advocate such idea to teams and deliver data products that are discoverable, reusable, self-descriptive, security & privacy compliant, trustworthy, and interoperable.
- Work with other Product Managers to ensure interfaces align with other products and shared OKRs and KPIs are maintained and updated.
- Define, implement, and track performance metrics once solutions enter production.
- Understands financial impact of team and product related decisions.
- Vendor management.
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Business, Statistics, IT Technology or a relevant discipline.
Skills
- Ability to build end-to-end Data product & platform strategy, including definition of scope, roadmap, OKR’s and KPIs and understand product development from ideation to release.
- Ability to drive cross-functional development to achieve the common mission, prioritizing work and inspiring the team to improve.
- Ability to influence decision makers and manage collaboration partners to achieve the Product mission.
- Familiar with Customer Data Platform and its implementations, including tagging, customer profiling, behavioral data tracking, segmentation etc.
- Keen sense of business, data with logical thinking.
- Team player, effective communication, inspiring speaker and presentation skills.
- Fluent communication in English.

Experience
- 8-10 years experience with retail industry, understanding key data matrix of e-commerce, CRM, merchandizing and store operations etc.
- Experience collaborating with or working in leading data service providers in China for the fashion apparel is a plus.
- Experience on Tmall, JD databank and other digital platforms is a plus.
