Job Description
You are responsible for supporting the Sales & Profit by keeping the books correct and updated according to H&M group rules and local regulations to deliver a Great Customer Experience inline with the Country goals. You support the country to have Great People & Teams by working together with manager and co-workers in a professional and efficient way according to H&M values.
Carry out:
- Monthly and yearly cut
- Bank & credit card reconciliation
- Gift card analysis and reconciliation
- Balance reconciliation
- Accounts payable
- Stock bookings and intercompany transactions
- Routines for fixed asset bookings and depreciation calculations
• Initiate and carry out general ledger bookings
• Report to Accounting manager when necessary
• Work accordance VAT & Corporate Tax& Withholding Tax rule
• Cash Management
• Be a role model according to our Values & Values in action
• Ensure staff assessment and actively promote a positive feedback culture
• Share your learnings and knowledge to develop the Accountant role and improve the way-of-working
• Be a key player in your team by motivating and encouraging your team members to achieve stronger results.
• Work closely with the Accounting Manager and other functions to ensure alignment of goals and priorities.
• Take own initiatives to improve and maintain the work in the accounting department
• Make sure to acquire knowledge to be able to be efficient
• Communicate with people to solve things in an efficient way
• Service minded • Ability to maintain a good network with other functions
• Explain and follow up administrative routines within Accounting to other functions
• Understand and meets the legal obligations regarding national laws and regulations
Qualifications
Accounting or related degree.
Demonstrable senior experience in the role.
