Job Description

As a Receptionist at the COS Head Office, you will be the welcoming face for colleagues and visitors, ensuring a pleasant and supportive experience. Your responsibilities will include handling organisational and administrative tasks and serving as a key communication point within the office. 

What you will do: 

  • Ensure the reception area is always staffed to greet and assist all visitors to COS Head Office, providing effective organization and teamwork. 
  • Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing post, DHL, and internal deliveries, recognizing and appropriately handling urgent or time-sensitive items. 
  • Oversee the maintenance of coffee stations and other designated areas, ensuring they are consistently replenished and maintained to a high standard as directed by the Office Manager. 
  • Maintain and manage meeting rooms and communal spaces to the highest standard. 
  • Handle office stationery orders, working closely with the budget. 
  • Manage and control office supplies, processing all relevant invoices efficiently. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with office suppliers, ensuring smooth operations while maintaining a cost-conscious approach. 
  • Book and manage taxis and couriers for office use as needed. 
  • Assist in planning and implementing office meetings, ensuring the smooth running of office-based events. 
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager to ensure clear communication throughout the office and support effective teamwork. 
  • Support senior members of the COS team on an ad hoc basis.

  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative. 
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative support position.

  • Helpful and attentive to individual needs. 
  • Ability to build strong rapport with colleagues at the head office. 

Additional Information

This is a full time permanent contract based at our Head Office in London.
