As a Set designer, 

You design and create the settings for different photo productions. You plan and organize the set design based on production brief and complete the set layout according to production deadline. You are responsible for ordering and purchasing different props and materials as well as developing and building own creations. You work with many projects simultaneously and collaborate with different stakeholders on a daily basis. 

Key Responsibilities:   

• Plan, design and organize set for photo productions. 
• Prepare set by building/constructing, painting, sewing, ordering, purchasing and/or renting props. 
• Schedule and coordinate set construction and teardown according to shoot calendar 
• Collaborate and communicate with production team 
• Brief production team on safety of how the set works 
• Handle, organize and store all in-house set design props and materials. 
• Manage set budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality 
• Invoice handling and other administrative task

You enjoy finding smart solutions to challenges and are curious to learn and develop yourself as well as our business. We believe you work well under stressful conditions and can manage several projects at the same time. You are used to making own decisions and to give constructive feedback to improve things.  

What you need to succeed:  

• Experience within set design or background within theater scenography or similar areas.  
• Knowledge in diverse carpentry skills. Simple sewing and furniture upholsterer knowledge can be a plus.  
• Experience in working with both motion and still image production is meritorious.  
• Strong organizational skills.  
• Experience of working with physically demanding tasks.  
• Excellent Swedish and English language skills, both written and verbal. 
• Drivers licence B+
