Job Description

The Data Analyst works alongside with Product Manager in the team to monitor digital product performance, generate data report and insight and give business the data reference for decision making. With the data collected from various data sources, he/she is responsible of analyzing data based on function development in own channel.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with different stakeholders in China to understand business requirements, discover data inside and provide analytical support.
  • Performance data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to help Product Manager to support data decision making.
  • Analysis of data to track product/feature performance and generate actionable insight to improve customer experience or identify commercial opportunities.
  • Design of tracking strategy and events for new platform, features, and new requirements. Work with data engineers on continuous data tracking and follow up initiatives from idea to industrialization.
  • Develop and maintain BI dashboards to visualize key metrics and KPIs that assist Product Manager in designing Digital Product.
  • Advanced presentation skills, including the ability to engage and persuade senior stakeholders with data-driven insights.
  • Provide ad-hoc data analysis report based on BT or Business requests from key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Must haves:

  • At least 5 years of experienced as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
  • High proficiency in SQL-based languages (MySQL, MSSQL/transact SQL)
  • High proficiency in (analytics) scripting languages, such as R or Python.
  • High proficiency in data visualization techniques & tools like Power BI, Quick BI, Tableau, BigQuery, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Drive, enthusiasm and insight into fast fashion and software development to be able to push our business to the next level, by utilizing their analytical mind-set, data driven decision making model in collaboration with Product Manager.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Fluent English and Chinese speaking.

Nice to haves:

  • Educational background in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or related, and knowledge in the machine learning and data product development area
  • May offer guidance and assessment for machine learning models provided by vendors, and evaluate model performance by creating suitable metrics
  • Knowledge about CDP is a plus.
  • Experience with leading projects and mentoring team members.
  • Experience leading discussions with stakeholders, and proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.

Additional Information

This is a fulltime permanent position, starting as soon as possible according to agreement. The role is an on-site position, based in our office in Shanghai, China.
