Company Description
As part of our journey to transform ourselves and elevate H&M through our Brand Plan, we are creating a new Strategy, Innovation, and Business Development function. The purpose of the new function is to accelerate our brand plan ambitions and collaborate across business functions, to simplify and create clarity for teams working towards our common direction.
The new function consists of 3 units which work as a unified strategic muscle around our core business internally, including mobilization of business development needs and execution of the strategy future growth.
Strategy Unit focuses on securing a clear common direction and strategic plan ensuring clarity and alignment across the organization on what to deliver on.
Business Development and Delivery Unit focuses on identifying development priorities based on strategy, and shape and run core programs with the right competence to mobilize, engage and support the organization to deliver as well as track progress.
Innovation Unit focuses on setting our innovation agenda based on strategy, be the “antenna” to the outside world and go after disruptive opportunities that have the potential to become scaled innovation.
Job Description
We are looking for a Portfolio Management Lead to join the Business Development and Delivery unit. You will be part of a central team to drive our strategic direction and the core agenda of H&M. You will have a key role in establishing our new unit including setting up collaboration within the team, as we as ways of working and collaboration with business functions and stakeholders within the company.
Key responsibilities:
This role is pivotal in driving our Brand Plan ambitions, ensuring alignment and clarity across all business functions. The Portfolio Management Lead will lead the developments of our portfolio together with the team, monitor initiative progress, address risks and dependencies, and establish best practices in governance and prioritization.
- Hold the company-wide Portfolio Management together
- Consolidate, report, and monitor initiative progress tracking across the full portfolio (the entirety of our Brand Plan)
- Consolidate delays/risks, roadblocks and dependencies for escalation when needed
- Secure frameworks, steering and prioritization processes cross-functionally
- Develop, maintain and provide best practice for governance structure (e.g., meeting forums, cadence)
- Develop, maintain and provide best practice and standardized tools
Qualifications
Experience required:
- 7 years+ work experience with portfolio management
- Proven track record of project and large program delivery that drives business results
- Evidence of delivering business value through effective portfolio management and achieving strategic goals
- Strategic mind-set and ability to prioritize
- Collaborative, with excellent communication and presentation skills
Additional Information
This is a fixed term contract role based in Stockholm until mid April 2025.
