As Press Officer & Communications Specialist in the global H&M Group and H&M media relations team, you will work proactively and reactively with media related tasks. You will respond to incoming media requests from Swedish and international media, draft messages, Q&As and statements. You will develop media strategies, media plans and be a spokesperson when appointed.

Your responsibilities also include, but are not limited to: 

• Prepare media messages and press releases
• Advise, train and support company spokespeople on communication and media needs.
• Maintain and develop H&M Group’s network with key media.
• Organize press events, interviews, and press trips.
• Anticipate and detect communication needs and risks.
• Crisis communications.
• Press duty.

For you to succeed as a Press officer & Communications Specialist in the global media relations team, we believe that you are/have:

• Education: Higher education in communication, journalism and / or marketing (or other relevant higher education)
• Experience from working with media relations or as a communications specialist
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent writing skills and ability to express yourself verbally in English.
