We are seeking talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our VAR team of the merchandising component area located in the Product Engineering organization in our Center of Excellence. 

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our organization and clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, develop efficient code, perform rigorous testing, test your product in our Store lab and deliver a robust software product. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software development, a passion for technology, and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.   

Responsibilities:  

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions that align with project goals and meet quality standards.  

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality of software solutions  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and design solutions 

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge.  
  Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues 

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team 

• Assist in mentoring junior engineers by providing guidance and feedback 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field 

• At least 3+ years of software engineering experience  

• Strong working proficiency in Java.  

• Experience of working in OTMM (Open Text Media Manager) or similar systems 

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies 

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git  

• Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn 

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
