As a Communications Specialist & Press Officer Manager, you contribute to added customer value, a strong brand and increased sales by ensuring high quality PR & Communications activities, both internally and externally. You are a key player in protecting & balancing the narrative of the brand on a regional level. You collaborate closely with the other teams in the Customer Activation Team to be able to find synergies and maximize the effect of our earned communication, both internally & externally. And most of all you manage a diverse team of members based in different parts of Region East Europe, who represent the local culture and language.  

Your Core Responsibilities includes but is are not limited to:

• Communicating H&M messages in a trustworthy way, both externally and internally, together with HO and the Head of PR & Communications Manager.
• Support the Head of PR & Communications Manager in setting tactics and plans that will support regional objectives, based on insights from each individual market and with H&M’s customer in focus.
• Support Regional Leaders in Media Training and Spokesperson assignments.
• You are a key player of the Regional Crisis Management team as the back-up to the Head of PR & Communications, where you support, guide and coordinate when needed.
• Sets Regional Internal Communications Strategy, ensuring effectiveness in both messaging & use of channel to achieve set objectives.
• Responsible of executing on regional plan and content (articles, videos statements, messages, Q&A’s etc) and publishing for our Internal channels.
• Foster and maintain a good collaboration, ensuring the communications approach, with the local HR department on internal communications, employer branding, education activities and change communications.
• Responsible for securing the quality and tone of voice in all translations of global material used in the internal communications channels.
• Follow up and report on KPIs, Media & Social Listening Reports and objectives connected to project responsibility. 
• Manage from distance a diverse team of communication specialists, based in different countries across the region.

To be successful in the role as Communications Specialist & Press Officer Manager, you bring others onboard through inspiring, clear and including communication where you lead with an ambitious and pragmatic approach.

What you need to succeed:

• Experience of being a brand guardian in senior PR & Comms teams, knowing how to create results through PR & Comms on Brand KPI’s.
• Extensive experience in media relations, both Corporate PR & Brand PR. Meriting if within the Region.
• Strategic experience in Corporate & Brand PR & Crisis management.
• Proven track results in building &/or protecting the brand through PR, media relations & internal comms.
• Strategic experience in Internal Comms & preferably Employer Branding.
• Strong project management skills where you optimize and make projects come alive through great execution.
• Strong leadership in managing and empowering team members, leading from distance.
• Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English. 
• Fluent in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

This is a full-time position, located in Warsaw, Poland. Communications Specialist & Press Officer Manager reports to the Head of PR & Communications for the Region East.
