About H&M Production

Transform design ideas into real products at H&M production. The direct point of contact for local suppliers in over 20 sourcing markets, we ensure that top quality products are made as sustainable and cost-effective as possible.

As Production Merchandiser at H&M BEAUTY Production office you will be an essential part of building the new brand as well as securing its future growth and profitability.

The assignment and focus areas include:

• As a Production merchandiser, you have the ownership over the whole purchasing workflow to secure the global best buy, best price and on time delivery in your assigned markets.
• After receiving the product briefs from Brand Managers, you have responsibility in driving development, quotation and order follow up processes per the set strategy to secure the best deal for our customers.
• You are responsible for making the necessary assessments to ensure the best markets & best suppliers are selected for each requested product.
• Finally you are responsible for managing requests and orders, following the company routines/methods and ensuring best deals and on time delivery.

• 3-5 years Experience on working with cosmetics and other beauty products (filled products preferred) at a global competitor or a full service supplier
• Cost knowledge from filling, primary packaging and secondary packaging
• Commercial acumen – Negotiation skills and good product and market trend awareness
• Experience from product development
• Strong communication skills in terms of presenting, influencing and working in a global network
• Stakeholder and time management skills
• High level of ownership, flexibility & entrepreneurial spirit
• Team player / connectedness (ability to connect with people in an effective way)
• Knowledge of the European supplier base would be a plus
• High level of Excel and Powerpoint skills
• Passion for Production & Beauty

This is a long term position, located at our creative and dynamic H&M Beauty head office at Jakobsbergsgatan in central Stockholm as well as the M28 office in Marievik.
