Job Description

As a Technical Engineer you are responsible for design, configuration, and development in the support of new technologies to be introduced to H&M, translating business and tech requirements into technical solution, and identifying areas in need of improvement. As Technical Engineer you will work with complex systems, designing, developing, and integrating them at every stage of the lifecycle. You will be a part of delivering reliable, mission-critical solutions with the goals of accessibility, optimization, and security.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the team’s technical subject matter expert and technical escalation resource.
  • Co-work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers for system design, implementation, and rollout.
  • Manage quality assurance with end-to-end scenarios.
  • Identify potential issues and integrate possible solutions.
  • Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful results.
  • Engage with management regularly, reporting on project status, activity, and achievements.
  • Provide options for how the solution could be evolved to provide even more value.
  • Support refactoring of legacy systems and building solutions to reduce technical debt and assist in the decoupling and modernize the software architecture.
  • Ensure high quality of developed technical solutions.
  • Deliver on time, demonstrating strong commitment to deliver on the team mission and agreed backlog.
  • Create knowledge and produce the necessary documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Deep knowledge and competence in tech/computer science.
  • Expertise in technical project management skills.
  • Expertise in system integration via restful API, SFTP, message queue and service bus etc. with JSON/XML.
  • Passionate about new technology, self-motivated, work independently, responsible, and good communication ability.
  • Workable English is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge in T-mall, JD, OMS, WMS system in a big plus.
  • Knowledge in major public cloud is a plus.
