The role as a Floor Manager (FM)

As a FM, you report directly to the Store Manager. You are a leader in the store who empowers the team by coaching and developing them to increase sales, maximise profitability and deliver the best customer experience. You also create inspiring presentations of our products as well as take care of all and administrative cash handling and operational practices in the store. Your responsibilities are divided into five parts:

Customers, Colleagues, Visual Presentation, Planning and Procedures & Routines. You are an ambassador for the brand and together with the team you strive to exceed customer expectations and drive selling on the sales floor, that’s where it all happens!

Your responsibilities

The job of a FM comes with lots of responsibility – and lots of fun. Your to-do list includes:

• You are passionate about our customers and your top priority is always to give excellent customer service.
• You lead by example and always prioritize our customers.
• You train and coach the store team in commercial, visual and administrative routines.
• You use store reports and other analytical tools to take active commercial decisions to increase the selling and maximise profitability.
• Together with the team you make inspirational presentations with our interior products.
• Ensure the team follows all health & safety, store operations and customer service expectation routines.
• Ensure the product flow in the store is always optimal through the delivery process and replenishment.
• You perform daily, weekly and monthly administrative routines (reporting, cash handling, payroll).
• You work in accordance with H&M HOME standards and local legislation with health & safety and security routines.

Your profile

• Interior interest and trend awareness, you have experience in visual presentation & interior styling.

• Excellent proficiency in the English language
