Job Description

We are currently in the process of recruiting Test Engineers to be part of our Solution Foundation team supporting our Portfolio Brands unit. In this role, you will play an instrumental part in enhancing our organization's test agility by providing necessary capabilities and support and will be working on our e-commerce websites for our brands such as COS, Weekday, Arket, & Other Stories.
 
As a Test Lead Engineer within the Portfolio Brands unit, your will work on testing our e-commerce websites and solutions (both in-house and external ones). Joining as a Test Automation Lead Engineer you can expect to work on test automation on both front-end and back-end side of our e-commerce solutions. Your contributions will essentially empower our Portfolio Brands Team to execute efficient delivery of high-quality products. Automated testing will include UA, API and Event testing.


Some of your responsibilities will include:  

  • Create an automation test strategy for Portfolio Brands,
  • Lead tech experience,
  • Enabling seamless test automation, efficient test management, and reliable test data management of our e-commerce solutions
  • Providing high availability, tech-agnostic support, and business value-driven services to our Portfolio Brand Team within the organisation. 
  • Testing our in-house mainly on front-end and backend for front-end systems. We also work with vendor e-commerce solutions.
  • Exploring opportunities to improve and contribute to cross-team and organizational enhancements
  • Creation of proper test documentation

Qualifications

  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Cypress or Playwright
  • Other tools and frameworks that we use is Jira (Test Management), Confluence, GitHub, API with REST Assured, Postman, GraphQL and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI) and Appium
  • Proficiency in JavaScript as a programming language.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce domain
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Vast test engineering expertise including performance, integration, exploratory and automation testing, great knowledge of testing methods
  • Ability to build test cases and execute them
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues, ability to reach out to correct stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

Nice to have:

  • Practical knowledge of GraphQL, SQL, SAP
  • Knowledge about our Centra (Ecommerce platform) and Ingrid (Delivery Platform)
