Job Description

We are currently in the process of recruiting Senior Test Engineer to be part of our Solution Foundation team supporting our Portfolio Brands unit. In this role, you will play an instrumental part in enhancing our organization's test agility by providing necessary capabilities and support and will be working on our e-commerce websites for our brands such as COS, Weekday, Monki, Arket & Other Stories.
 
As a QA Lead Engineer within the Portfolio Brands unit, you will set-up testing strategies and tools for the team, act as a mentor, go-to person on technical solutions. On this role, you will be an essential part of team’s expansion and will oversee the testing progress of our e-commerce solutions. Your contributions will essentially empower our Portfolio Brands Team to execute efficient delivery of high-quality products

Some of your responsibilities will include:  

  • Setting-up the testing structure and ways of working for the team of test engineers supporting our Portfolio Brands unit
  • Supporting team of testers
  • Enabling seamless test automation, performance testing, efficient test management, and reliable test data management of our e-commerce solutions
  • Providing high availability, tech-agnostic support, and business value-driven services to our Portfolio Brand Team within the organisation. 
  • Overseeing testing of our in-house and vendor e-commerce solutions on both front-end and back-end side
  • Exploring opportunities to improve and contribute to cross-team and organizational enhancements

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of professional experience in a similar role playing a key part in setting up the testing structure, acting as a mentor/ leader guiding the team
  • Prior experience within the e-commerce domain 
  • Ability to recommend proper tools, methods and environments to ensure smooth and efficient tests of our solutions
  • Expert knowledge on performance, integration, exploratory and automation testing and testing methods
  • Ability to build test cases and execute them
  • Strategical ways of thinking, ability to plan ahead to meet and set goals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and propose effective solutions
  • Ability to drive test automation improvement initiatives and influence others to prioritize automation considerations
  • Understanding the bigger picture, drive automation throughout the solution / sites and not just single cases
  • Previous experience in integrating testing within devops pipelines in a seamless and dynamic way
  • Create test report documentation
  • Vast experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Cypress, Testim
  • Other tools and frameworks that we use is Jira (Test Management), Confluence, GitHub, API with REST Assured, Postman, GraphQL and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI) and Appium
  • Proficiency in JavaScript as a programming language.
  • Bachelor degree

Nice to have:

  • Practical knowledge of GraphQL, SQL, SAP
  • Knowledge about our Centra (Ecommerce platform) and Ingrid (Delivery Platform)
  • Experience in other programming language such as Java, Python etc…
