Job Description

In our Buying Office in central Stockholm, Sweden we have our Sewing Support function where our seamstresses support the product teams to create the best collections for our customers worldwide. We are now looking for a one-year-temporary replacement for one of our seamstresses.

Join us to support our fantastic in-house sewing team! We look for a skilled seamstress who like to always develop, are a true supportive teamplayer and thrive in a fast paced environment.

Your responsibility:

  • Work in close collaboration with our product teams that design and develop the fashion garments for our H&M Ladies, Mens, Divided, Kids and Baby collections sold worldwide
  • Work in a dynamic and fast paced environment with a variety of projects
  • In the Sewing Studio we sew everything from underwear to heavy jackets, complete garments to details, and basic blocks to PR-samples and more

Qualifications

We are looking for:

  • Minimum of 3 years education within sewing/pattern making
  • 3-5 years’ experience of working as a seamstress and/or tailoring
  • Outgoing, positive and can handle a fast-paced constantly changing work environment
  • Passion for fashion, strong fit knowledge, size, awareness of materials and functionality
  • Curious and wants to develop
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken (Swedish is not necessary)
  • Ability to work with high precision and speed
  • Team player and good communicator
