Job Description
The role of the regional sales manager is a vital part of our organisation in Asia. You will play a vital role in driving sales, managing costs, and looking for growth in order to build a sustainable and stable business. In this role, you steer with the vision of adapting our Global strategy to secure a locally relevant customer-centric experience reflective of our Brand ID.
• Ensures that the sales performance in your region, as well as the overall profitability, is in line with yearly budgets and growth playbook goals
• Ensures delivery of a locally relevant, consistent, and elevated customer experience within the frame of our Brand direction and Global CX vision
• Ensures strategic planning as well as major operational and commercial activities of the sales region are implemented
• Create a people-first working environment, leading based on the COS HR direction
• Collaborate with the Regional Controller to create and oversee the budget, and together manage financial plans, openings of new stores, and rebuilds in the region
• Co-create with the Regional Visual Merchandiser, Merchandising, Marketing, and E-commerce to ensure the best indirect customer experience in the stores and across channels.
• Ensure the region has the appropriate goals, plans, and budgets to maximize sales, improve efficiency, and increase profit while monitoring and following up

• Oversee succession plans for management and key positions throughout the region to build retention and reduce turnover
Qualifications
• Experience working as an Area manager or in an equivalent role leading a regional retail team
• Should have a university/college degree
• Excellent English language skills, both verbal & written. Other language skill relevant to the region will be an advantage
• Excellent organisation and planning skills
• Strong understanding on the COS brand and customers
• Great communication & presentation skills with the ability to guide strategic level discussions
• Excellent analytical, problem solving & decision making abilities
• Able to work flexibly, multi-task and establish key priorities
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time when needed
