You are responsible to secure transport and controlling needs of the Philippine Distribution Center (DC).  You are going to secure transport operation flow, cost management while securing high level KPIs, drive set sustainability actions. In addition, you will support H&M DC Manager and 3PL with financial and quantitative insights and ensure financial reporting accuracy and review results with the Regional Controller to achieve the best outcome for the H&M customers.

• Secure Transportation Operation flow

• Day-to-day transport coordination among DC, Outbound departments and contracted carriers
• Support the business through smooth running delivery operations
• Ensure a high level of consistency and service at all times dealing with all external partners (e.g. forwarders / carriers)

• Cost Management and Secure High Level KPIs

• Monitor and act on transport KPIs, and follow up (e.g. via DELCON); ensure given transportation budgets
• Monitor stock deliveries to be in full, at the correct frequency and on time
• Monitor return handling and secure filling grade targets are met
• Balance delivery times aligned to the needs of the 3PL- provide sound business in case of bottle necks or conflicts

• Execute Sustainability Strategy

• Execute sustainability transport targets based on regional sustainability strategy and targets
• Review and secure correct sustainability reporting of forwarders/carriers
• Collaborate with Regional Transport team to support transport sustainability goals

• DC Controlling Function

• Together with the team you will constantly work on securing operational excellence through analysis and actions. Set strategies for maximising profit and efficiency.
• To drive profit mindset to your team through strong leadership skills: inspiration, delegation, follow-up and motivation.
• Oversee new projects and ROIs of business cases.
• Manage 3PL service providers’ performance and develop performance in a cost-conscious way.
• Ensure the accuracy of all customer related KPIs to support decision making for future actions to improve customer experience.
• Lead and develop a high quality controlling steering model including reporting and follow-up structure.
• Ensure correctness of accounting and finance activities – secure robust and accurate financial budget and forecasts (incl. capex).
• Ensure all internal and external routines connected to compliance are secured in the best way.

To be successful in the role we believe you have:

• Deep expertise in operational transport processes to serve retail stores 
• Strong understanding of business needs from sales side for retail stores   
• Solid overview on specifics and capabilities in regional transport operations to serve brand needs
• Pronounced transport focus and commercial sense
• Deep knowledge of controlling, logistics, DC operations & finance, related software and regional specifics, as well as operational capabilities
• Good understanding of cross-functional departments and collaboration with Regional stakeholders
• Solid skills in project management., contract negotiation, prioritization and business case
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
• You are fluent in English both written and verbal

• You will become a part of the Philippine DC team and will be based in DC Office in Sucat, Paranaque City
• You report directly to Philippine DC Manager
