Portfolio Brands is a portfolio consisting of COS, Monki, Weekday, & Other Stories and Arket, as well as development projects to broaden and improve the H&M Group's offering. 

Each brand is commercially autonomous and set their own Customer Offering & Experience, Brand direction as well as sales operations. The Portfolio Brands is managed and supported by a small expert team in Stockholm focusing on supporting the existing businesses to reach their goals, creating a learning organization cross brand, where ideas, talents and new business opportunities are being shared.

Job Description

This is a general ad for all current and upcoming Product Developer position within the different H&M assortments of Women, Kids, Menswear, Divided, Home, Beauty and Move. Regardless of which assortment you work in, you will be part of a tight team including Product Developers, Designers, Pattern Makers, Planners, Controller and Section Head. Together as a team, you are responsible for the entire work process of developing new and exciting products that enable our customers to look and feel great. Your work will focus on developing the most current and commercial products at the best possible price in a sustainable way.

As a Product Developer you will set and drive assortment and development strategy for your department. This includes both short- and long-term strategies in line with the overall assortment goals. With a strong fashion intelligence, salesmanship, and sense of commerciality, you can identify seasonal keys and act on relevant tendencies. We believe that you are a natural project manager with excellent communication skills. You make things happen around you and make sure to stay organized even when the work pace is high. 

Qualifications

Required qualifications

  • Experience from/currently working as Product Developer, or buyer in Fashion retail
  • Education within Textiles/Buying/Product Development 
  • An eye for current fashion trends with strong fashion intelligence 
  • Have passion for products and product development 
  • Strong material knowledge
  • Driven, structured and take initiatives 
  • Salesmanship and result orientated 
  • Great communication skills 
  • Strong team player with a flexible attitude  
  • See possibilities, improvements, and efficient solutions
