Job Description

As a Senior Product Designer at COS, you will collaborate with ecommerce specialists to improve user experience online, create seamless journeys for our customers, and ultimately help drive COS’ ecommerce growth. You will help define and create innovative and relevant a/b tests and site enhancements using brand design principles, industry best practices and a data-driven approach.

What you will do:

  • Use your strong design principles and eye for detail to conceptualise and deliver relevant and conversion-driving website enhancements, ensuring the outcome is optimised across all devices
  • Design iterative user interface concepts using knowledge of customer behaviour, UX best practices and industry standards
  • Design using your ability to combine commerciality and creativity, establishing intuitive flows, clear wireframes and build desirable prototypes in collaboration with developers
  • Help set objectives, requirements and metrics when conducting concept testing, to ensure any tests that are implemented are intuitive and functional for the customer
  • Work closely and collaboratively with digital design, e-commerce, customer insights, in-house developers and business development teams
  • Collaborate with CRO Specialist and Front-End Developer on user experience tests alongside central tech functions to evaluate existing functionality and identify improvement opportunities
  • Be a brand guardian of digital style guides and global design system(s), and updating/improving when required
  • Facilitate and partake in workshops and collaborative design sessions to ensure ideas translate into profitable commercial experiences
  • Clearly communicate design approaches and rationales to key stakeholders in an engaging way
  • Conduct thorough quality checks when signing off all tests and enhancements
  • Assist with the handover, testing and implementation of site enhancements across other global platforms, optimising/adapting for local markets when
  • In conjunction with CRO Specialist & Front-End Developer, responsible for the design, testing and sign off of a/b tests and website enhancements at a global level
  • Work to agreed project timelines and deadlines, managing your own time effectively, in close collaboration with digital experience co-ordinator

Qualifications

  • Similar experience working with digital product design, UX, UI and e-commerce
  • A solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation
  • Have an understanding of different UX research methods and how to apply them to all parts of the customer journey
  • Understanding of platform-specific behaviour across digital devices, with a real focus on mobile-first design
