Job Description
As a customer service agent for the H&M Group, your most important responsibility is to make our customers' lives easier.
You will start your journey with a paid 5-days training to discover how we support our customers. You will then join our young, ambitious, and international team to support our Dutch-speaking customers whenever they contact us about our stores, our online shop, our products, or their orders.
Our customer service center is in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
Qualifications
As you will support our customers via phone and chat, excellent written and spoken communication skills in Dutch is a must. Your spoken English also needs to be on a good level to be able to read written communication and to discuss with your colleagues who don’t speak Dutch.
Having good computer skills and being knowledgeable about MS Office will make it way easier for you to start the job.
You are:
- Available to follow a 5-days training (from 8:00 AM to 16:30PM every day) starting on the 10th of October.
- You are available to put your training in practice and work at least 16 hours/week during the following weeks. You will be planned in consultation, but consider that you must work sometimes during evenings and/or on weekends.
- Living in the Maastricht/Liège/Aachen area and in possession of a valid work permit (BSN) for the Netherlands or able to obtain it before the training starts.
- Customer friendly and strong in empathy.
- In possession of a positive attitude and mindset.
- Solution-oriented and stress resistant. Multitasking is second nature to you.
- Not afraid to make mistakes, but able to follow instructions.

What do we offer?
- A contract of minimum 16 hours/week (you can choose to work more hours).
- An initial paid training of 5 days (from 8:00 AM to 16:30PM every day), which you will follow in our center in Maastricht. You will discover how we support our customers with the tools at our disposal, together with the routines and procedures we all need to follow.

- You will earn a market-conform salary together with the reimbursement of travel / home working expenses and meal allowance. With this type of contract, you will get paid for the amount of worked hours the following month.

- If you live in the Netherlands, once you feel comfortable in your role, you can be scheduled in such a way that every week will be a mix of working from home and working in our Maastricht CS Center.

- If you do not live in the Netherlands, we will be happy to discuss the possibilities to work from home on an individual basis as it can impact your tax declarations as a cross-border worker (more info on www.belastingdienst.nl).
