You will play a core role in this to happen so join us to lead our Commercial and Procurement area within Business Tech Functions.
You will work closely with our CTO and Head of Business Tech to set the strategy and direction for group wide Tech Sourcing by delivering cost efficiency & optimizations to support our group direction. You will build great businesses both inside and beyond our corporate firewalls to maximize value from our supplier relationships and ensure our internal customers have the goods and services they need to succeed.
Job Description
- Lead definition of Tech sourcing strategy (in alignment with CTO/Head of Business tech), incl. category management/planning, policies and guardrails
- Lead definition of sourcing model for major service bundles (based on demand of domains, functions and teams and capabilities of vendors)
- Lead Tech Commercial team manage a large portfolio of vendors
- Establish relationships with strategic providers, act as escalation instance
- Align domains and team’s requirements with current and future vendor capabilities/ service scope
- Drive and research opportunities to reduce total costs and balance inflationary pressures and optimize for total cost of ownership
- Drive realization of synergies across the group by aligning sourcing requirements and vendor selection processes
- Lead vendor selection/negotiation processes for strategic contracts
- Define KPI/performance standards and measurement processes for vendors
- Monitor, communicate and course correct vendor performance
Qualifications
Experience and desired behaviors:
- 15+ years of vendor relationship and performance management experience
- 12+ years of experience in categories under management in a fast placed global organization
- 10+ years in procurement leadership roles within large companies (SEK 5bn+ in procurement spend)
- IT knowledge and IT service delivery experience
- Knowledge of service management standards (e.g., ITIL) and Risk management
- Advocate agile methods in working style
Technical competencies
- Hands on experience in shaping, negotiating and managing large, multi-year vendor tech deals (1bn SEK or larger)
- Proven track record with 2+ large transformation projects in leadership roles, ideally procurement organization development or transformation
- Proven track record of 2+ deals involving modern, cutting-edge technologies (e.g., AI, Machine Learning, Agile deals)
- Proven experience in negotiating and managing deals with at least 3 major service providers (e.g., TCS, Accenture, HCL) and software providers (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce)
- Experience in sourcing and managing SaaS/Cloud Based products
- Experience in shaping, negotiating, and managing vendor performance under different constructs (e.g., RFP/RFI, Service-based ARC/RRC, Fixed Price, Fixed Outcome)
- Experience in designing and managing multi-vendor setups including cross-vendor incentives and penalty schemes
- Understanding of at least 3 Technology areas and related challenges across:
- ITIL and Service Management
- Agile Engineering, including CI/CD disciplines
- Core infrastructure components (e.g., cloud, DC) and main challenge
- Data platforms and analytics
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Modern Tech stacks for front-end development
- SAP and core RDBMS platforms
