We currently have 73 stores on 22 markets and offer online selling on 32 markets through Stroies.com and external partners. And we are growing!

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Women's Junior Designer to join our RTW team in the Stockholm Atelier designing jersey and knitted products. We believe you have a high fashion sense and a strong feeling and intuition for trends. You encourage and contribute to the shared responsibility of creating and protecting an inclusive and welcoming workplace where everyone is allowed to self-identify.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be involved in which identified products the customer will be demanding next season.
  • Understand how the concept’s customer are affected by trends and research
  • Create and update flat sketches and technical files based on the planned assortment
  • Update overviews, colour charts, prints and presentation material
  • Assist in fittings and update sketches accordingly to the new information.
  • Responsible for developing and giving feedback on print artworks when needed.
  • Constantly follow the selling and act on new tendencies as well as search for the new commercial fashion

Qualifications

We would love to meet a junior designer who:

  • Has minimum 2 year’s experience of working as a Junior Designer with experience from different garment groups, preferably within Womenswear
  • Has a passion for the & Other Stories Customer
  • Has strong fashion intelligence and is driven by trend analysis to be able to predict what your customers will demand in the future
  • Has a strong aesthetic on design well connected to the customer concept description. 
  • Has the ability to design a well-coordinated product range with focus on Modern Basics, Current fashion and unique treasure pieces.
  • Strong skills in and used to working in Adobe Creative Suite programs
  • Experience from working with 3D CLO is required
  • Has a great knowledge in jersey and knitted qualities
  • Has a positive problem solving attitude and is always eager to find new ways
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Is a team player and has a straightforward communication ability adding to an open atmosphere that allows growth.
  • Great English skills, written and spoken (Swedish not necessary)
