We currently have 77 stores on 22 markets and offer online selling on 32 markets through Stories.com and external partners. And we are growing!

Job Description

Purpose of role - Retail Experience Manager (One-year Contract)

As Retail Experience Manager(One-year Contract), you lead your physical Store team towards extraordinary result. You are responsible for the customer experience in your area.

Responsibilities

Create an inspirational and smooth customer experience aligned with Stories Direction.

·       Strategize and develop the retail shopping experience to ensure inspiring touch points for each customer, today and tomorrow.

·       Drive the implementation and execution of the customer experience from start to finish, from big leaps changes to daily operations.

·       Enable and strengthen a seamless experience between our different touchpoints, through retail channel to create the Stories world.

·       Drive business innovation and business development.

·       Identifying new customer needs and changes in customer behaviour and drive actions to exceed customers’ expectations. 

·       Implement commercial strategy and align commercial priorities within your organisation.

Execute commercial agenda and set priorities for local market

·       Align commercial priorities and execute global commercial plan.

·       Implement way of working, best practice and global guideline.

·       Execute tactical activities for the local customer based on the global commercial and reduction strategy.

·       Oversee the total workload plan in physical store and align priorities.

·       Identify and act on local potentials.

·       Be close to stores to understand the market situation.

·       Ensure structured communication and way of working towards your stores.

Secure relevant, responsible & profitable growth

·       Optimize and manage stores both from a brand and commercial perspective to ensure and enable an outstanding growth and profitability short- and long term.

·       Adapt global retail channel strategy to local needs and drive the execution from start to finish.

·       Constantly hunt for and act on new opportunities to grow customers, sales and profit.

·       Ensure in-depth knowledge of recruitment processes and practices, onboarding routines and training processes, and partners with ER Generalists and country Support Office H&M HR teams as the subject expert on all ER, benefits and compensation related topics.

·       Partners with Global Sales Team to coach and develop the Store team members in succession and development planning

Qualifications

Competences

·       Having a strong vision and visual skills for customer experience.

·       Strong business sense and entrepreneurial spirit as well as a drive to achieve strong results, both long term and short term.

·       Solid strategic skills, possessing the ability to understand the customer and customer experience in a 360 way in a complex context.

·       Action-oriented and pragmatic: Strong ability to transform plans into actions, constantly hunting for and finding potential and improvements.

·       Commercial: ability to understand how to drive customer offer, experience, operations to achieve outstanding sales & profit.

·       Passion for the customer and business, as well as a curiosity for the world, the customer and the customer behavior.

·       A very strong leader with ability to lead different kind of roles, in different functions and contexts.

·       Fluent English speaking and writing, native Korean speaking is preferred. 

Additional Information

This is a temporary position for a-year-contract, based in Seoul, South Korea. Native Korean speaking is preferred.
