We are currently looking for a HSE Manager to join the Logistic team in Borås DC.

As a HSE Manager, you will be a member of the management team in Borås that also includes HR, controlling, operations, MHE (Material Handling Equipment), IT and Project.  You will work within a warehouse that have both manual and highly automatic departments. In close collaboration with the warehouse managers and safety representatives, your responsibility is to ensure a safe work environment for all our employees. Our 24/7 online warehouse in Borås will have an expansion journey in the coming years and you will be an important part in the project team.

Job Description

  • Perform risk analysis & risk management within the DC and take corrective measures to ensure people safety​
  • Ensure DC is compliant with global policies, standards and local HSE legislation incl. security req. & Code of Ethics program​
  • Continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge, and preparedness to create a culture that prioritizes effective HSE
  • Implement & follow up on safety, security and information security standards within DC (own warehouse & external) ​
  • Ensure the implementation of goals and action plans​
  • Collaborate with both global and local security and facility responsible, to ensure DC compliance and fulfillment of processes and goals
  • Support people & business growth and development by ensuring that Security & Safety strategy is followed within the DC​
  • Initiate sustainable processes and challenge the current set-up from a sustainable perspective

Qualifications

  • Profound expertise in safety, security, and warehouse operational processes, also cross-functionally​
  • Solid understanding of global policies, standards and local legislation connected Swedish work environment authority, collective barging agreements, National Electrical Safety Board,
  • Proactivity in identifying and solving potential risk areas with regards to health and safety as well as overall compliance​, preferably in safety systems (H&M in Borås uses IA-system)
  • Solid analytics and problem-solving skills​ together with strong communication & coordination skills​
  • Holistic view for the bigger perspective with a visionary approach ​to constantly develop our safety culture
  • Ability to encourage collaboration, co-creation and people development by empowering others. Know the value of involving right competencies from the organization to find right solutions
  • Agile mindset, positive attitude to change & meaningful growth​, inclusive and empathetic towards others, encouraging diversity ​

This is a full-time position with placement in Borås. You will become part of the logistics management team for DC and report to DC manager.
