Job Description

Do you have exceptional creative flair?  Are you an expert in digital design & brand experience? Do you enjoy leading a team of skilled and innovative creatives?  

If so, this could be the role for you! We are looking for a Head of Digital Design to join our Global Brand & Communications team. This role will report into the Head of Marketing and is offered on a full time, permanent contract.

As a Head of Digital Design at COS, you will lead the digital design and artworking team to deliver functional, on-brand design solutions for all digital channels including cos.com.

 

What you will do:

  • Shape the creative expression in line with the brand vision. Create design solutions that are both functional and inspirational, optimised towards channel best practice and user experience.
  • Support the growth of the brand’s online business, leading the site design for new platforms, markets and channels, as well as driving digital innovation across all touch points.
  • Lead the team of digital designers to enhance the COS brand experience with functional, on-brand design solutions across all channels and websites.
  • Support in the delivery of online campaigns by creating visual designs across multiple digital channels including cos.com, email, social media, display and affiliate channels
  • Responsible for creating conversation rate optimised design across cos.com in line with Brand ID and sales goals
  • Collaborate with Regional digital marketing teams, adapting concepts and designs according to local briefs, customer behaviour and channel insights.
  • Co-create with the Art Direction, Content and Project Teams on defining creative design templates and guidelines for all digital content
  • Mentor junior members of the digital design team
  • Support the UX, product designers and development teams as well as our external stakeholders to grow the digital experience and implement new functionality and site designs.
  • Create responsible digital design and optimisation for mobile devices.
  • Play a pivotal role in website, email and social media a/b testing; overseeing relevant tests with the end goals of increasing conversion and improving customer experience
  • Lead with expertise in responsive platforms, intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation
  • Combine a commercial and a creative approach to understand the COS aesthetic.

Qualifications

  • Experience within a similar role from a fashion retail background
  • You are highly creative, data-driven and have experience in fashion branding
  • Experience collaborating across different global departments and working with key stakeholders
  • Develop innovative and proven, with experience design for both, digital and print
  • Knowledge of industry trends across digital channels
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on constant improvement.
  • Passion for UI/UX to help improve customer experience across digital platforms
  • Have a global mindset with knowledge of region-specific needs
  • Understand mobile-optimised design, applying a mobile first approach to all projects and tasks.
