We are looking for a Global Head of Content to work as the brand guardian and voice for COS digital communications. This role will report into the Head of Marketing and is offered on a local full time temporary 12 months contract to start ASAP.

As the Global Head of Content, you will strategically plan and design a long-term vision for all of COS’s creative content. We believe that you should have a customer centric approach and can lead your team to deliver on the brands content marketing strategy and commercial goals. In this role you will have the opportunity to drive the strategy and content for all global channels inc organic social media and the COS magazine.

What will you do?

  • Work in close collaboration with the Brand & Communications creative team and Regional Digital Marketing teams to develop a cross-channel content strategy, ensuring alignment with the brand’s creative expression and activity plan to drive commercial KPIs
  • Secure the internal workflow to ensure that our customer receives relevant content at the right time at all customer touch points to drive the business
  • Secure the information flow and content handover between the Global Content Team, Regional Digital Marketing, PR & Marketing and E-com teams.
  • Guide the Copy Team to create conceptual campaign messaging, collection editorials and product descriptions, establishing the COS tone of voice in an inspiring way
  • Lead the Global social media team by setting the brand vision for each social channel, maximise the channel performance and grow the COS community
  • Own the financial planning of all content production, as well as Global organic social media, copy / translations and COS Magazine.
  • Set and achieve social media goals for follower growth, engagement, traffic and reach and lead the growth within new social media sites and accounts for COS.
  • Ensure content is optimised according to digital channels and reach set KPI’s across the full media funnel: awareness, consideration, conversion and loyalty.
  • Optimise product copy to maximise conversion and SEO across all cos.com sites
  • Within the workflow, act as a key collaborator to Buying, Sustainability, Styling, Art Direction and Digital Design to ensure all content captures collection story telling opportunities, has a clear purpose and is relevant to customer online behaviour
  • Lead the team to become experts in understanding the COS customer, using data to impact our content strategy and activity plan​ at Global level
  • Work with the Global and Regional digital team and analytics to support digital KPIs and develop the user journey

Qualifications

  • Several years of work experience within the field of brand content with expertise in copywriting, editorial, social media and digital channels
  • Significant experience working with marketing strategy and content planning in the fashion or creative industries.
  • Previous experience managing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Process driven, with great attention to detail and ability to work towards tight deadlines
  • Analytical mind-set and good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong creative eye with the ability to showcase all visual assets in the strongest way to the customer
  • Consumer centric approach; strong understanding of the retail consumer landscape.
  • Ability to multitask and work cross departmentally with a range of stakeholders.
  • Positive attitude, and willing to contribute creative ideas with the rest of the team.
