Accounts Payable Specialist to the Global Accounts Payable department

Finance and Accounting is responsible for making sure that the H&M group can handle all business initiatives in a legally compliant way and ensure that all brands and sales-channels are aligned from an Accounting perspective. We are a strategic business partner and support the H&M group's business development in order to achieve our long-term goals. We offer a challenging role with the opportunity to influence the ways of working within global accounting. You will play a key role in transforming our AP department and will be given lot of responsibility from day one. Your work will be carried out in close collaboration with the AP Department Manager with the joint goal of aligning our internal stakeholders to achieve the most efficient setup of the department.

The Accounts Payable department (AP) is a global department within the Finance & Accounting function that works closely together with both internal and external stakeholders. Our department is on a transformation journey with a focus on automating and centralizing our AP processes. We are now looking for a senior Accounts Payable Specialist who will have a key role in leading and developing the accounts payable processes by sharing your learnings and knowledge to develop and improve our way of working.

Job Description

The job of a senior AP Specialist comes with lots of responsibility and lots of fun. Your to do list includes:

  • Be a project manager in appointed AP areas
  • Having a global responsibility by ensure efficient daily operation in the global Accounts Payable team together with the Shared Service Center
  • Ensure quality within your area through guidance of external stakeholders, other departments and functions

Qualifications

  • Degree within Business Administration & Economics (or similar)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience within a similar role is required
  • Experience of establishing and cooperation with a shared service center for a global organization is required
  • Experience of running and developing new and existing AP processes
  • Experience of leading and running global projects
  • Experience of working in SAP
  • Experience of RPA and machine learning
  • Fluent English skills, both in speech and writing
