Job Description

If so, this could be the role for you. We are now looking for an Art Director to join our Brand & Communications-Creative Studio team. This role will report into the Head of Art Direction and is offered on a full time, permanent contract.

As the Art Director - Menswear, deliver the COS visual language and aesthetics for all brand imagery and 360 campaigns with a particular focus on menswear. In this role, you align creative direction with business objectives and contribute with creative solutions to inspire the COS customer and community.

What you will do

  • Be responsible for the art direction and visual identity of COS to drive brand awareness, perception, traffic and revenue online and in-store
  • Optimise studio imager online to enhance brand experience and drive conversation and brand experience
  • Create and execute end-to-end 360 image campaigns, from creative concept to postproduction, overseeing every step of the process
  • Research and present trends, photographers, styles and other external creative partners
  • Support to increase brand engagement and develop the visual direction of COS Man
  • Together with the Head of Art Direction, delivery the brand’s visual expression and ID
  • Partner with the Styling Team regarding the overall style and fashion direction captured across all image shoots
  • Oversee art direction and edits of studio imagery created at COS, working with Studio Production to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with the Content Team to optimise shoots by considering unique/additional content for each digital channel
  • Develop and grow key relations with external creative partners inline with COS brand values
  • Provide input on image and brand direction to the Global and Creative Teams within the business.
  • Ensure assets are delivered to meet deadlines set by the Content Team.
  • Give input on Global/Regional/Digital/Physical channel-specific content and imagery, whether it is for community, brand building or driving selling

 

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as Art Director within Mens fashion and retail
  • Expert-level proficiency user of Adobe InDesign Photoshop & Bridge
  • Experience in creating visuals for digital and social implementations, 360 campaigns, special projects, for organic and paid media channels
  • Proficiency in design, retouching, video and motion is a plus
  • Ability to drive and own development of ideas based on consumer insights, and deliver meaningful business results
  • Genuine interest in and understanding of the COS brand and business, both visually and commercially
  • Strong communicator with outstanding presentation skills
