We are looking for an Area Manager to join our Area Team based in Amsterdam responsible for stores in Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg This role will report into Regional Sales Manager and is offered on full time permanent contract.

As an Area Manager, you are responsible for the sales performance, customer service and overall profitability of stores in Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. You lead the Area and Store Management Teams to ensure the area runs in the most efficient way by implementing the strategic planning, operational and commercial activities.

Job Description

•Implement the strategic planning and major operational and commercial activities of the sales area, responsible for the sales performance and create a people first working environment within the area

•Collaborate with all functions in the area team, contribute and develop an efficient information- and workflow and work towards the set long- and short-term goals

•Collaborate with your area team and follow-up of the sales strategy to the store managers/store teams, to secure objectives and align with regional goals

•Lead and grow your Store Managers to grow the business, guide through the whole employee life cycle, secure an excellent direct and indirect customer service within the area, through securing operations, standards and trainings

•Work with the Area Controller and Area HR to implement an appropriate staff structure in your stores, to secure operations can be handled with quality and efficiency

•Collaborate with the Area Visual to ensure all sales campaigns are carried out in accordance with COS guidelines and secure a high standard of visual merchandising, support and challenge to optimise store layouts to drive selling

•Ensure all Area- and Store Manager receive the appropriate level of training, be aware of talents in the area and enhance succession planning

•Monitor the service level of our competitors ensuring that COS remains an industry leader

Qualifications

•Previous experience working as a store manager or area team member/function manager within head office

•Must have experience working as a manager with staff responsibility.

•Excellent English language skills, both verbal & written

•Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

•Proven organizational, analytical and decision making abilities

•Sales driven and result oriented

•Willingness to travel regularly

•Ability to use own initiative and work as part of team

•Ability to collaborate and build strong relationship across multi markets
